DCA Strategy (Endowus S&P 500) - Does it really work? Total invested (End-June): $3364; Value (End-June): $3039 Simple return (value / cost): 10.7% (~$~325) 6th month:

Initial investment in Jan 2023 of $790, and monthly buys of $450 (+ ad-hoc investments depending on situation). Very small now but that's the point of DCA.

*Note: I might shift the 450 to stocks for the time being. But great to see early returns in the DCA account. will be keeping it on autopilot.

Now the portfolio seems to be fuss-free and low-cost, and so I don't have much complaints about Endowus. I chose this because it also allows me to invest CPF OA monies (if I wanted to).

Will post on a monthly basis, sort of as a testament of "why DCA works". Join me on my journey!

Any and all questions welcome!

Thanks for sharing! I am using Endowus too!

Update: Dialling this DCA down to ~$100 :( , the residual is going into my brokerage account, trying to increase my case position when the time comes...

Thanks all for following this DCA strategy, almost forgot to post this as I was super busy at work these days.

Hi Joey, thanks for doing this experiment on DCA-ing! Could I ask why there was a dip to 0 mid-April...
