Currently in a traineeship which is gonna end next month. Company is not hiring and converting us. Tried looking for other jobs but employers say not enough experience. What should I do?

Should i apply for another internship/traineeship since employers think I am still not qualified for entry levels with 1 year of experience?

I have got my first job during the COVID period, was not given very good pay, but it gives me income. I applied to more than 200+ jobs on jobstreet, before I got that job.

While working, build up your portfolio and linkedin profile. strike a presence, my current job was headhunted from linkedin.

Not another traineeship. Perhaps you are applying industries that do not have relevant experience to what your current traineeship

Honestly, one time traineeship is sufficient. Time to find a full time job, had to start somewhere.

Though in the beginning might be low pay, but it will never be as low as traineeship.

So all the best , find a job first and start working and learning on the job. Will gain experience as you work and pay will increase.

Getting the first entry level job is really tough and I empathise with your situation (from a fellow trainee)

There are some good advise in the comments, so I'd just add a few more which I think might be a value add to you.

If you haven't gotten much interviews yet, try getting referrals from your friends into roles you might be qualified for. There are 2 major advantage with this approach. 1. You get to learn first hand what the role is about, the company, project, benefits, etc. from your friend. 2. Referrals go straight to the hiring manager, you bypass a lot of the traditional screening, pymetric test, resume screener.

Try to avoid a 2nd traineeship unless you want to explore a completely different career path or job scope before settling one. Traineeships are a double edge sword in terms of pay and "real" work experience. Many recruiters completely shut down when they hear your last drawn pay and years of experience.

1 years experience won't get you any role in an analyst role. Find out what's the pre req on becomin...
