Current market value color

It is very confusing and misleading when current market value is in green despite being at loss compared to invested amount. Loss might be better associated with red color?

Slight red, mostly from tech and growth stocks in US but its been improving so im not too worried. It couldve been green if i had reinvested, but i dont really like tracking them and i believe they'll do v well in the long term.
