Chocolate Finance Referral Link — S$10 Cash + 2% p.a. on First S$20k, Daily Returns, No Lock-In + Honest Risk Breakdown (2026)

Sharing my Chocolate Finance referral link with a full honest breakdown — including the fact that this is NOT SDIC-insured, which most referral posts conveniently leave out.

What you get signing up via the referral link

  • S$10 credited to your Chocolate Finance account once you sign up and add any amount of money — no minimum top-up required
  • Immediately start earning 2% p.a. on your first S$20k and 1.8% p.a. on the next S$30k
  • Returns are calculated daily and visible in the app every day
  • No lock-in, no penalty for withdrawal at any time

Exact steps to sign up

  • Click the referral link
  • Download the Chocolate Finance app (App Store or Google Play)
  • Sign up and verify identity using Singpass MyInfo
  • Add money via FAST transfer, PayNow QR, or eGIRO
  • S$10 reward credited once your first top-up is confirmed

What returns does Chocolate Finance actually offer

  • SGD: 2% p.a. on your first S$20k, 1.8% p.a. on the next S$30k
  • USD: 4.1% p.a. on your first US$20k, 3.8% p.a. on the next US$30k
  • The Top-Up Programme guarantees these rates on your first S$50k until 30 June 2026, or until S$1.5 billion AUM is reached, whichever comes first
  • Returns are not guaranteed and are subject to market conditions — this is the key distinction from a fixed deposit or savings account

Withdrawals — what's changed

You can request a withdrawal any time with no penalty and no lock-in. Withdrawals take up to 3 business days, though the company states 88% are processed within 24 hours.

⚠️ Important update: instant withdrawals are no longer available in Singapore, following a suspension in March 2025. If you're comparing this to products with same-day access, factor in the 1–3 business day withdrawal window.

Is Chocolate Finance safe — the honest answer

This is the section most referral posts skip, and it's the most important one.

  • Chocolate Finance is a brand of Chocfin Pte Ltd (UEN 202347190R), licensed and regulated by MAS to perform fund management activities (CMS101452)
  • Funds are held separately by custodians including HSBC, State Street, BNP Paribas, and Citibank — ringfenced from Chocolate's own operations
  • Chocolate Finance is NOT a bank and is NOT covered by SDIC. This is fundamentally different from GXS, MariBank, or Trust Bank, all of which carry SDIC protection up to S$100,000
  • This is an investment product, not a deposit account — returns can fluctuate with market conditions, unlike a guaranteed savings rate

If SDIC protection matters to you, this is not a like-for-like substitute for a digital bank savings account. It's closer to a low-volatility cash management fund.

The Chocolate Visa Card — worth knowing about

  • Zero FX fees on overseas spend
  • Miles Multiplier system — higher average balances earn more miles per dollar spent
  • Earns miles on everyday spend including bill payments

Honest comparison — where this sits

  • ✅ Better than idle cash earning near-zero in a basic account
  • ✅ Daily-calculated, transparent returns you can check every day in the app
  • ✅ No lock-in — genuine flexibility if you need the money back
  • ❌ Not SDIC-insured — capital is not government-protected the way a bank deposit is
  • ❌ Returns are variable, not guaranteed — unlike CPF OA (2.5% p.a. guaranteed) or an SSB
  • ❌ Withdrawal takes up to 3 business days, not instant

The strongest use case: money you'd otherwise leave in a basic savings account earning near-zero, where you understand and accept that this is an investment product rather than a deposit.

DLCuration bonus draw

This is a separate, independently funded initiative by DLCuration — not affiliated with Chocolate Finance.

After signing up via the referral link and making your first top-up, email [email protected] with the name used for sign-up and your first top-up date. You'll be entered into:

  • Monthly draw — up to S$5 in vouchers (Amazon Gift Card, NTUC FairPrice, Sheng Siong, or CapitaLand Mall)
  • Annual grand draw — up to S$50 in vouchers, automatic entry for all monthly participants

Disclosure: This post contains a referral link. If you sign up using this link and add money to your account, I receive a referral benefit and so do you — S$10 each. The DLCuration monthly and annual draws are funded entirely by DLCuration, separate from Chocolate Finance's referral programme. Chocolate Finance is a brand of Chocfin Pte Ltd (UEN 202347190R), licensed by MAS (CMS101452). Not SDIC-insured. This is an investment product — returns are not guaranteed. Not financial advice.

Happy to answer questions about the SDIC distinction, how this compares to GXS or MariBank, or the withdrawal timeline in the comments.
