If people are so gungho about paying 2-3x more than a flat for a condo, they should be financially capable to handle associated costs.

It is important never to bite off more than one can comfortably chew.

Is that pool just downstairs that you never use worth $300-$1k more a month?

Is that bbq pit/function room that you hardly use worth the maintenance?
