Can I mix miles from different companies?

If I earn Citi Miles from a Citi credit card and UNI from a UOB credit card, will the miles earned from the two be pooled in the same KrisFlyer account?

Also, is UOB PRIVI Miles Card a good credit card for miles accumulation? Apparently I can earn more miles if I open a Krisflyer account under them and maintain a monthly amount in a deposit account.

P.S. The cards will be used for wedding expenses.

Hi Andy,

  1. Yes and no. When you earn miles from Citi and UOB, they will not go directly into your KF account (unless you activated the direct miles crediting, only available with KF cobranded credit cards). Instead, they will be in your separate Citi/UOB rewards account, if you will. After that, you can transfer the miles out to the mile program of your choice (ie KF), and they can be pooled into the same KF account.

  2. UOB PriviMiles is a decent miles card, particularly for paying for big ticket expenses (more than $1k) because most 4mpd cards are capped at $1k/month for the 4mpd earn rate, and other miles cards have lower earn rates (1.2mpd vs 1.4 mpd). I think you're talking about the KF debit account? I'm not too sure about the rates and whether or not it's worth it, but I think the UOB PriviMiles card is a decent card nonetheless, especially for wedding expenses where you'll have several big ticket expenses.

Hope this helps & congrats! :)
