In 2009, I bought an integrated shield plan, Supremehealth, and then in 2010, I bought a rider (TotalShield), back then the financial advisor mis-sold the policy by saying I don't need to declare pre-existing conditions. now in 2024, under a new financial advisor, I am doing re-declaration. do I need to declare only the pre-existing conditions before 2009 as suggested verbally by the financial advisor or do I need to declare all conditions that occurred after 2009 during the re-declaration in 2024? I am concerned as different financial advisors give different advice and I already took the initiative to email the insurance company customer service but the customer service only give template generic answers and refuse to give answers that appropriately answer the specifics of my question. the new financial advisor says don't need to but won't confirm it in writing. please help me

If it really doesn't work and even the underwriter is not addressing your issues appropriately, go to FIDReC for mediation.

Please go through your direct insurance agent for the follow-up, he or she will know your policy exclusions and medical conditions (as per stated during policy inception) upfront, without any prejudice.
Insurer customer service will most likely give you a "textbook answer", of which in this case, can't help you out for this situation.
Do update here for the issue.
