Buying Vanguard ETFs or Mutual funds from Singapore. Dividend taxes to be aware of. How do they change based on country even if domiciled in Ireland?

I wanted to buy Vanguard life strategy ETFs, but on IBKR only the ones listed in BVME are available (as BVME.ETFs)

This article here says that UCITS ETFs are taxed (withholding tax) at 26% https://ibkr.info/article/2091

But when I check on https://markets.ft.com/data/etfs/tearsheet/summ...

the ETF says it is domiciled in Ireland.

I plan on buying the one listed in AMS (Amsterdam) because I understand capital gains are not charged for non-residents.

Am I missing something here? I'm really concerned about the taxes on dividends and capital gains

IBKR contract info search gives V80A as ticker listed on Euronext Amsterdam (AEB):

https://misc.interactivebrokers.com/cstools/con...

A search of V80A gives you the attached image, where the first line is the one listed on AEB.

Not sure this meets your requirement.
