Buy mobile phone at official mobile stores or neighbourhood mobile stores?

Why do people buy phones from official mobile stores like Apple and Samsung when the phones sold there are much more expensive than normal mobile stores? Is it just because they are going for the latest models?

Sometimes telco stores give bundle deals eg free mobile plan etc

May be better to buy an authentic phone if you want it brand new.

If you are going to a neighbourhood stall, you are pretty much expecting a second hand copy.
