I am trying to budget and reduce unnecessary expenses. Has anyone used the Spendee budgeting and expense tracker app? I think it is a good app to visualise and categorise expenses and income and it's very convenient (it directly pulls transactions from DBS and OCBC). However Spendee requires bank login credentials to be stored on their servers to link local bank accounts, so I am concerned about data security even though Spendee claims it stores user logins in a safe and encrypted storage area. Should I discontinue using the app?
Would appreciate if anyone has knowledge or experience with budgeting apps and is wiling to share tips, thank you!

When I started budgeting, I used https://budgetbakers.com . I got the lifetime membership with them but not using it anymore. Its pretty good app. I don't remember seeing Singapore banks in their auto sync feature. Even if its there you might have the same issue as spendee.
Did you try DBS NAV planner? They can pull data from multiple banks, cpf. e.t.c
In my opinion, Budgeting should be done manually. This will be make conscious about your spending and it will help you develop good spending habits. We need to be delibirate if we need to cutdown on spending.

I use expense manager on Android. It's simple interface but that's also because it can be exported as excel (which I've been using for many years). I guess it also depends how much personal information you want to put inside and if you are comfortable with it.
