Best way to redeem flights on Qatar airlines?

If you just wanted to try the novelty that is Qsuites, I would either use Asia Miles or wait for a mistake or deeply discounted fare (but this requires positioning most of the time). If I am a frequent oneworld flyer, then I would also consider to credit the flights and any EQMs to AAdvantage if this ever happens. AAdvantage does work on a 18 month activity expiry policy, and happily still award miles based on distance flown if the ticket is issued by partner airlines (compared to a multiplier based on your status if the issuing airline is American)
