Hi Seedly fam, recently moved into my new place. May I know where do you guys usually shop for your groceries/ household items and get the best deals? Does it make sense to get them online for heavy household items like detergent etc. (eg comparing prices online sometimes I realised delivery fees not worth imo).
Just want to know what's your preferred medium of purchase and money saving hacks since these necessities are items that need regular purchasing hence trying to save abit more.

Since start of CB last year, we have switched to online grocery shopping and enjoy the convenience of buying bulky and heavy items (rice, detergent) online, save us a lot of trouble to park, carry them etc. Normally I will not pay for delivery fee by at least hitting the minimum amount for delivery. Besides ordering from redmart, can buy from individual sellers at shoppee or lazada too as well as local biz that post on FB. Have avoided NTUC online though cos of their shipping and packing fee even if you hit their free delivery amount.

Nowadays every month there are sales on shopee n laz(redmart). Take advantage of it n collect shop and bank coupons n stack them on checkout. Sometimes there r even free shipping. Shopee recently is trying to play catch up with laz(redmart) with shopee mart. Give them a try! Hope it helps.
