CPF

Based on my situation, should I transfer some of my OA to SA, or better to invest it? What should I consider, and how do I calculate?

30; OA 85k, SA 30k, MA 55k

  • Not using OA in near future, may need for housing from 2028 onwards
  • Currently topping up MA, may top up SA for tax relief after MA is maxed

Thinking if I should transfer a portion of OA to SA, or invest it with Endowus. What should I consider, and how do I calculate? Any advice?

I will not do transfer so that i have longer window before hitting FRS to enjoy the tax relief from SA topup. So my best bet is to do short terms invest/t-bills with OA before i need them in 2028.

If im in your situation, and i need OA money from 2028 onwards, perhaps i will invest it with endowus in low cost world etf or us etf.

But if i do not need cpf oa money in near future within next 8-10 yrs, i will definitely transfer OA to SA to max up the 4% interest rate.

Doing cah top up to MA and SA is a good idea, can relief tax and build up cpf SA.

My personal opinion is, if you have catered a pool of money for retirement, then it's no harm transf...
