Ascendas Reit. Since 28th April, Ascendas has taken a price drop...from 3.14 to around 2.90. Why? More importantly, the price has STAYED at 2.90 for 2 weeks now. Again, why?

The price movement from 28th April to 3rd May isn't really that significant, nothing more than 1% in a single day. 4th May, they did a private placement, causing share price to fall a little. The next big dip was from 7th May to 14th May like due to Covid-19 implications (14th being the day when Heightened Alert was officially announced at aroud 12pm++). Note also that ex-div occured on 11th May as well, which contributes to price decline to account for paid out dividend. As for why it didn't move after that, I guess there's just not enough buyers to push the price up. But if you're looking to accumulate, this also means that you have more time to accumulate :-)​​​
