Guess we are in the same consumer category as far as spending goes. Debit cards have worked for me all through, which has helped keep me out of unnecessary debts.

Thus, I will advise that you stay away from credit cards unless you run into an emergency situation which requires compulsory (not compulsive) borrowing.
