Are there any stories or experiences of people who used dollar cost averaging (DCA) on the STI ETF and actually making profits?

I hear everyone talking about DCA and STI ETF and the recent RSS campaigns. Wondering if there are really stories of this happening and how much do they actually make via this investment strategy?
