I think it depends. If that ETF is supposed to be passively managed but the expense ratio is as high as those actively managed then it wont be worth it.

There are some ETFs like those thematic ETFs that are actively managed with about 0.5-1% expense ratio, I think that's fine because trends change and they have to make changes to it.

Hi good article; while the Ishare etf has the lowest expense ratio, it has double the tracking difference of 3033 (0.09%). So of the 4 similar ETFs, which one (or two) should one invest in ? Thanks?
