Hi Miguel,
β
I don't think you are able to buy all insurance plans without an agent.
β
I'm sure you may have your reservation and there are pros and cons.
β
Getting an insurance through an agent is like having your own personal assistant.
β
it's good to have a chat with an FA for you to understand better on the types of Insurance plans available either direct or indirectly.
β
Regards,
Alif

Hi Miguel,
β
There are plans that can be bought directly from the insurers.
β
However, you'll have to make sure that you know what you are buying, and what you are covered for; no one can formally advise you on it. You might end up buying the wrong type of plan, or get coverage for the wrong duration.
β
You'll also have to perform claims on your own.
β
An advisor's job is to put in perspective what you need, and also point out things that you would probably miss if you attempted to buy your coverage by yourself. We have, by virtue of our work, seen many different scenarios and may have a broader perspective.
β
This will help you to have a better idea of your blind spots so that you can get coverage that's better suited to your requirements (regardless of whether you are fully aware of what your requirements are).
