Truth be told, it won't be easy if you are looking at the more competitive courses like computer science, business and the more niche engineering like aerospace.

You should evaluate what your interests are first before you apply to any course. If your GPA is far from the cut off from your desired course in the three big local unis, there are still many other alternatives to consider.

In the end, what matters is your performance at work, not so much about the university you are from. The piece of paper only gets you through the door. What happens after that depends on you. So choose something you really love doing and make work become play.
