Anyone has used MoneyOwl's Wise Income and have any review on it? Are there better options out there for more than $100k of funds for passive income type products?

Looking to put in a considerable amount of funds there, fees look competitive and product looks decent. Would appreciate any feedback here on it, thanks Seedly community!

Hi Anon,

Just a background of similar options in the market.

There are 324 SGD dividend paying unit trust funds listed on FSMOne.

229 distribute monthly, 53 distribute quarterly (the more frequent the distribution, the higher the costs typically)

82 offer reinvest option.

There are only 34 Balanced funds in this list with annual management fee ranging from 0.50% to 1.40%. While their dividend yields range from 0.81% to 5.02%.

With an annual management fee of 0.40% and dividend yield of more than 4%, the Fullerton MoneyOwl WiseIncome does have an edge over the others.

The hassle free payout switching option helps to serve your needs from accumulation to decumulation phases of life without having to worry about selling or transferring of investments across instruments and incurring uneccessary fees in the process.

Do get in touch with us, should you require a more comprehensive run down of the fund. Look forward to be of service to you soon!

I invested in MoneyOwl WiseIncome since Apr 2021. I like their portfolio allocation of 30% global equity, 30% S-REITs, 28% Asian bonds, 10% US/SG gov securities and 2% cash, quite a balanced portfolio in equity and bonds. Another feature I like is you can freely switch among their 3 payout options: grow & invest, 4.5% payout, and 8% payout, intended for corresponding wealth accumulation, wealth preservation and wealth decumulation stage of your life. I opted for grow & invest where they reinvest dividends and achieved IRR of 4.66% at the moment, delivering their projected yield.
