Am I actually paying for sales charge if the platform states 0% while unit trust fact sheet says "up to 5% initial sales charge"?

My online platform says 0% sales charge for Unit Trust whereas the Unit trust fact sheet says "up to 5%" initial sale charge. Am I paying for that sales charge? secondly if these platform says 0% sales charge, 0% platform fee etc, how they make money for Unit trust then? Can anybody explain? Thanks.
