As long as you're saving, investing (low-medium risk investments, since you seem more risk adverse) and buy insurance (talk with your agent on how you can cover loss of income if you're unable to physically work), you'll be ok.
The only way you'd be completely poor is if WW3 happens and we're all drafted for war. In that scenario, money will be the least of your concerns.

I feel very old not knowing this term 'Money Dysmorphia', another slang.
Unless you have compulsive spending disorder, or suffer from excessive frugality, which is not as you described above, then I think you should be fine.
I can understand in Singapore context, its highly stressful, lots of competition and you may hold on to personal beliefs as a result of upbringing, or societal influences.
But you can overcome them by simply, Not comparing yourselves with others. Set realistic personal financial budgets and goals. Develop mindful spending habits. Continue to work hard, save for the future or rainy day. Do not blindly chase after money. Practice work-life balance and that good quality work will be remunerated well.
