Affordable bars / decent places for drinks?

Beer should be able to be below 20. but consider your transport back if you are staying later

Kanpai at telok ayer is pretty solid especially with happy hour

There are plenty of places with drinks below 20! Especially during happy hour. It also depends on what you consider decent ambience. Drinks are naturally priced higher at upscale bars/restaurants

I like The Pit, or Tango’s at Holland V (though the food might be slightly pricey for the latter). For casual hangouts with friends you could try Al Capone’s or Stickies at dhoby. Level Up at clarke quay is not bad for groups (it’s spacious, there are arcade games, you can play beer pong & foosball etc) but it can get a bit noisy with loud music

What kind of drinks are you looking for? Mirage at Owen Road is pretty decent, and some nights are quiet :)
