About two months till the end of 2020... Gosh it feels like a dream... Where are ya'll at for your 2020 life/personal finance resolutions?

I personally aim to come up with a concrete/actionable plan on to pay off my student loan before the interest rate starts kicking in in May/June 2021...

Covid was bad for me
I was scheduled to study my masters in the USA, after spending $9000 to prepare for all the application fees, test, sending transcripts, deposits.
Couldn't get an american visa due to covid and have to defer.

Hi Anon,

If you are from local uni on bank loan and graduating in May/June 2021, I believe that your interest will kick in only around Aug/Sep, based on what happened to mine back then. Also, with the current economy, there is currently a freeze on education loan's interest. Not sure if they will extend this to aid fresh grads like you.

My goal at the end of last year was to get out of my toxic workplace that owed me a couple of months' salary, up to 4 months worth of CPF at one point, & business claims of over 10k (yes, i get benefits from my credit card, but my heart can't take it, especially when they keep paying me late).

I am now in a much better place, with regular income & superior that appreciates me, though my total travelling time is around 3 hrs daily. The travelling is bad, but I guess I would rather my current job over my previous job, so in this sense, I believe that I had achieved my 2020 resolution.
