25M looking to buy my own property(likely BTO/resale) in about 10 years time. Is putting most of my money into equities the right approach ?

Currently, a bulk of my savings is invested into ETFs (CSPX and VWRA) and some in CPF as well. I understand that Index Funds are suited for long term investing, but for purchase of property, should I allocate more towards slightly less risk assets e.g SSB, CPF top ups etc? My emergency funds have been set aside and most of my income goes into investing/CPF top ups monthly

Would like to hear from the community on how they allocate their funds for housing needs and where they invest this funds

Pls consider a 60-40 or 70-30 risky/safe allocation

Invest in equities for potential growth, but be aware of the risks. Im cash heavy for the moment, because i dont think the outlook for market looks good. SG stocks/reits are good for dividend, but be aware they do come with risks of capital loss too.

I feel that its better to keep it low risk and have sufficient amount that is risk-free, BTO/Resale ...
