$250k net worth at 30, sacrifices for family

1) Is $250k net worth at 30 a good progress?

I hold a $5k white-collar job, unmarried and no debt (except $1.4k credit card bill that's paid off fully every month), uses Robo for investment. Travel at least twice a year, probably $5k-$10k per year.

Is this a good financial health / habits and able to start a family?

2) I love kids and definitely want my own children but wonder if having kid(s) in today's time & society really make your life more purposeful (to be better for their future) and worth the sacrifice of spendings on pleasure activities like travel / eating out etc?

3) I have no sense of purpose, still unsure what I love to do as a career but unable to change path at this stage (I career switch before). I just live day by day, tried a bit of everything from volunteering to attend learning courses, but nothing really work out, and I'm already 30. I wonder if putting myself into big commitment like getting a house or have children will push me to plan life and career more strategically. I am so tired of life and lost. Help.
