[Fuss Free] - No fees - No lock-in period - No minimum average daily balance or fall-below fee - No requirement for salary crediting [Application Process] Easy and simple, took less than 10 minutes to apply via Singpass; approval was almost instant; note you currently have to join a waitlist but you can skip it with a referral link [Interest] Calculated and credited at the end of each day [Online Banking] App is easy and straightforward to use [Overall] Recommended for anyone looking to maximise their cash savings without having to jump through multiple hoops, while maintaining near-instant liquidity (instant withdrawal for up to S$20k; for amounts above that, it'll take 3-7 business days). Do note this is not a bank savings account so it is not SDIC-insured but the funds are segregated and held separately by their trusted and licensed fund managers' custodians - HSBC and State Street

      Chocolate Finance

Due to the recent saga and how Chocolate Finance (CF) handled the situation, I think it is time for CF to acknowledge their problems. 1. Poor communication, not transparent. The fact that CF asked AXS to remove its CF card, then balantly suggested that AXS was the one who blocked CF card, was just balant lie. To CF, sometimes, it is okay to make mistakes/change your decision as long as you take responsibility for it. People didn't hate CF for removing CF card from AXS, people hate CF for lying. 2. CF did demonstrate the propensity to lie. First lie was to suggest that AXS block CF card when it was CF who wanted AXS to remove the CF card. Second lie was to claim that they amended the AXS blockage of CF card on their website immediately whereas the reality was that CF only amended the AXS blockage two days after being called out by AXS and finfluencers. 3. Yes there were unscrupulous individuals who 'gamed' the AXS-CF card to earn Max miles, but CF didn't forsee that? Really? I honestly thought the past events with grabpay mastercard were good learning materials. CF really needs to plan the usage of CF card properly with competent people. Also, I am not comfortable using the CF debit card while having a large sum of money inside CF. If ever there was a fraudulent transaction, the money inside CF meant for the investment could be siphoned out. Maybe CF card money and investment money could be separated. 4. PR disaster. The CEO interview with CNA was too heavy-handed, disingenuous, evasive, gaslighting at finest. The worse was the 'interview' with Sg budget babe, who she came off worse like a paid spokesperson who had all the excuses to explain the questionable behaviour of CF. Sometimes, just acknowledge your mistakes and apologise will do. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE: I have stopped using the investment tool on CF due to the whole saga. Plus, I am still using CF debit card, which I cannot possibly put too much money into CF in case of fraudulent transaction. I do not plan to use CF for investment anytime soon. My personal opinion is that CF, while not a scam company, lacks the moral values (honesty, responsibility) that I prioritise most in a company. CF will have to work hard to improve their public image, and definitely hire a PR team.
