Heard good things about OFX from Singapore friends who migrated to Australia and used it. Good things heard: Customer support over phone, offer the best rates for overseas currency exchange especially for large amounts of exchange. OFX also has a branch and bank account in Singapore. Decided to register an account with them to try their service. Registration was fuss-free and easy. Required to submit two ID documents online and once your ID has been verified, your account is ready to use. Received a call and email from an account manager the next day to run through the process with me and how it works. I re-scheduled the call as I wanted my spouse to be part of the conversation as well. We had the call with the account manager, and the service was thorough. The person on the phone was courteous, answered all our questions and also pointed out certain things to note with the SGD transfer, for example to check the daily transfer limit of my Singapore bank account. I have not locked in a transfer yet as I am waiting for the best rates. Will be updating this review once I do so. Note: I applied for the account while in Australia.0

I opened an account with OFX around Jan 2019 . Pros: - The only remittance platform I can find that supports remitting New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and Chinese Renminbi Offshore (CNH). Cons: - No referral programme.1

Careful, scam!!! I used them to TRY to send around 1.3k SGD 3 months ago. The transfer was stopped and loads of paperwork requested, in the end they canceled it giving weird arguments. I have never received a refund despite sending a dozen emails asking for my money. Useless and a scam! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, there are plenty of better alternatives out there!0
