Which stock's AGM is the best to attend?

Which AGM has the best door gift, best food menu? Which has the best service and venue?

We are supposed to go AGM to ask questions on the business prospects, not the food!

Actually, all the stocks that you bought, is the AGM(s) you should go! It's not about the food/gift... Hahahah!

Tough question. I personally feel those at held at Suntec Exhibiton not generally nice as it is so-so food served. Better to go to those held at the company HQ itself or Warren Country Club- Food is nicer and for warren country club there is shuttle bus

Hi Gabriel,

Well, Capitaland and their REITs do give vouchers for their AGM (Held at Star Vista). Singtel didn't give me anything (Suntec). Didn't get a chance to attend OCBC's yet due to work.

But that's not what you attend AGMs for do you?

Regardless, the best door gift for me is their physical copy of the annual report. I'm old school and still prefer to flip physical copies than scroll through a PDF.

HAHAHHHA I have attended AGMs but I never realized that people go because of the best food menu!

The main motivation for me to attend investor meetings and AGMs is to meet the management team in person, and also watch their facial expressions when they answer questions.

When I used to work in equity research - I recall a moment when the Head of IR rolled his eyes to complain about how stingy the CEO is, because of the

approvals he had to go through just to book his flight to Singapore.

Sometimes you can glean extra insights from small talk ;)
