Going to list out the pros and cons for the following cards which I feel do the job.

1) AMEX Krisflyer card. Earns 3.1 mpd (or 3.2 if you have the Ascend card)

Pros: Miles are directly credited to your Krisflyer program with no conversion fees

Cons: Limited to $200 per month. Over $200 you earn 1.1mpd (or 1.2mpd) only

2) Maybank Horizon Visa Singature (Earns 3.2mpd)

Pros: No caps. The limit is your credit limit

Cons: The points are stored with the bank and validity is 1 year. Need to transfer out soon

Most banks are clamping down on Grab top up. Cards which earn 4mpd on Grab top up are specifically excluding Grab top up now. For Citi Rewards card, it is a hit and miss thing, with varying reports on whether the 10X points are rewarded.

Cheers

I think is citi premiermiles visa card. With a dollar spend locally, you can get 1.5 miles.

I think now there are promo where once signed up you can get 40k miles on the spot. What a good deal!

Amex Krisflyer card.

Unfortunately, there is a limit of $200 per month max.

Most other cards up there is no longer giving miles or cashback for GrabPay top up currently

Hey there. I think the best mpd one you can use now is AMEX KF card. 3.1 mpd, but cap @ $200/month only.

I thought OCBC 90N can, but apparently nope..

Can anyone confirm that GrabPay top up using Citi Rewards can indeed earn 10x points? Cos I've read here at https://milelion.com/2019/03/28/citibank-dramatically-improves-the-citi-rewards-card-with-10x-on-all-online-transactions/ that Citi Rewards card do not offer 10x.

I believe you are looking at those that gives additional rewards/miles for topping up GrabPay, so the list should be quite restrictive - AMEX Krisflyer, Citi rewards, etc.

Do read up on the T&Cs to ensure your chosen card(s) recognise the topping up of GrabPay, due to the ever-changing T&Cs out of the blue. Although I'm sure you'll also hear it from the conversations here if there are any unpleasant announcements from the banks. Kudos to the Seedly community!

My first choice would be krisflyer (capped at $200 spending on grab) because the miles earned directly goes into your krisflyer account, saving you $20-$45 of conversión fees.

I would use KF Ascent or WWMC for topping this up

Citi Rewards @ 4 miles per dollar, capped at $1k monthly.

KrisFlyer Ascend @ 3.2 miles per dollar, capped at $200 monthly.

These are the two cards that I will use.

Here is everything about me and what I do best.

Hi, I personally feel Citi rewards card would be a good option for topping up of grab pay wallet as it gives you 10X rewards points equivalent to 4miles per dollar.

The points can then be used to convert to available frequent flyer miles (Citi rewards options available online) of your choice. However, do take note that 10X points are capped at $1000 per month. So if you intend to top up huge amounts into your grab pay wallet, do take note.

Another option would be American Express’s Krisflyer card if you are into collecting Krisflyer miles only. However, only 3.1miles per dollar is offered on grab transactions (capped at $200 per month). Moreover, if you spend at macs, subway, Watson, etc (quite a few more stores) you get additional miles too.

Here’s a link to the Krisflyer card if you want more information:

https://www.americanexpress.com/sg/credit-cards/singapore-airlines-krisflyer-credit-card/

In summary, I would recommend Citibank’s reward card or Amex Krisflyer card.

Hope this helps!

Cheers
