Hi Keane,

This will be dependent on the exchanges that you will be trading at, but the ultimate goal would be to minimise all forms of fees and costs.

For SG stocks, some of the popular ones include FSM, POEMS and DBS Vickers. You may wish to read up the reviews (https://seedly.sg/reviews/online-brokerages) or this cheatsheet for the cheapest local brokerage (https://blog.seedly.sg/the-ultimate-cheatsheet-...).

As for US stocks, it is generally cheaper to be investing via an overseas brokerage account compared to the local ones. Should you wish to invest up to US$100k, Saxo or TD Ameritrade would be a good choice. If you are looking at a higher amount more than US$100k, Interactive Brokers is a better choice (as they charge inactivity fee of US$10 per month if your account holdings are lower than US$100k). Here is an explanation in greater detail: https://blog.seedly.sg/how-to-buy-us-shares-in-...

Hope this helps!
