Which is a better option?

Hi anonymous,

Here's a bit of good news~

We just published an article with a list of cake options available online (from cafes and restaurants & even hotels) that still deliver during this Circuit Breaker period!

You'll need to pay a little premium to get the cakes delivered, but if you throw in a meal or two with your order (might as well if you're celebrating someone's birthday or Mother's Day perhaps?) then you might be able to qualify for free delivery.

My personal favourite from the list is Olivia Restaurant's Creamy Cheese Cake, it's a burnt cheesecake made with blue cheese and cream cheese and is arguably one of the best cheesecakes I've had in Singapore.

If you're looking for a chocolate cake, then Awfully Chocolate and P.S. Cafe (Double Chocolate Blackout Cake) has a pretty good selection too. Hope this helps!

A few days ago, we manage to get a small cake from 4 leaves. Not too big but at least its the thoughts that counts. Or perhaps can try some innovation and diy a milo cake, there are recipes on milo cake in the website where ingredients are milo, eggs, condense milk and steaming it. Hope this helps. :)

Hey there, Pine Garden was initially allowed to retail their existing cakes made when the stricter measures came into play on 21 April. But I just checked and seems like they probably had to finish selling all cakes by 26 April Sunday. Tough luck...

Not sure when you would need this cake as well, but it seems Pine Garden (and probably other confectionery) will be operating again from 05 May Tue. Grabbed this off their page:

"For order collection/delivery after 4 May, please go to our website www.pgcake.com and click on online ordering to place your orders. "

Fingers crossed you managed to get hold of a cake during this period, or order one for delivery/collection after 4 May. All the best!
