When I am a full-time retail trader trading forex, do I have to pay taxes?

I heard that there are no taxes on capital gains so do I still have to pay them when this is my full-time job?

By right, you do NOT need to declare and pay taxes. However, if you are full time trader you need to consider these.

Do you want to buy a house and in this case take up a housing loan?

If you do want to BTO or buy condo, and take up a housing loan, you will need to show proof of income to the banks. No bank is going to loan someone without an official income document. Unless you decide to pay the house in full cash.....

Same thing goes for a car loan or any other loan like renovation loans.
