Honestly speaking, nobody will REALLY know what is the best thing to invest in today's market. The only possible way to look out for is
(1) undervalue stocks, There is a discount built into it when you buy them. Hence the risk-reward is better.
(2) Diversification and Market Cycle. This is understanding economics, but still, it is no foolproof way of getting "BEST" investment. Anyone who tells you that, is
(a) someone who says bao jiak and is likely a scammer
(b) someone who is overly confident with no risk management in place.
This is because market risk (systematic risk) Cannot be diversified nor Removed.
(3) If everyone is talking about it, likely it is going to be at its peak. By everyone, I mean on the news, radio and even your close friends who are not into investment. That is the riskiest imho. (this is based on a quote by Warren Buffett. Be fearful when others are greedy).
