What recommendations for a Degree in Accountancy and Finance graduate? To take up MBA or ACCA or CFA? Or to work and gain experience first. Appreciate recommendations especially in this sector!

Am planning my next route when I graduate from degree. And no will not be going the financial advisor route.

School Of Hard Knocks And Life at School Of Hard Knocks And Life

Gain work experience to see if you like the accountancy or financial sector. These are two different sectors altogether. Hence determine your interest before you go for ACCA or CFA.

MBA = management route (regardless of industry)

ACCA = accountant route

CFA = financial analyst route

ACCA/CFA should be taken asap while your memory of school is still fresh. MBA will require you to get some experience first as it is like a course to management. You cannot just take an MBA and head to be part of the management.
