What is your favourite investing methodology? ?

I would like to discourage retail investors generally to 'gamble' with options of any kind, sorry, just my private & very subjective attitude

As to long term investment performance goals:

-4-5% per year is decent

-6-8 % per year ist good

-9-12% per year ist excellent

-more than 15% per year is rare (like f.ex. Renaissance Technologies)

-40-60% per year over long term (more than 10 years) is simply impossible​​​

For me, I use options on stocks to generate income, specifically bull put spreads. This allows me to generate 40+% returns a year or so. I'll add on options on futures to bring the ROI up to about 60% and this is my target for this year.
