What happens to my Medisave account interest when I hit BHS?

And if my special account is also more than FRS?

Will I still earn 4% interest?

Or will the excess go into ordinary account and earn 2.5% ?

Thank you!

As what Eligah has mentioned. Interestingly though, that still happens when the bhs increases in the next year. Your Ma interest will flow to SA or OA if frs is hit, and you will find yourself falling short from the new bhs level in the next year..

If your MA hits BHS, future MA contributions will be transfer to your SA instead, unless your SA is at the prevailing FRS, then it will be transfered to OA. This is assuming you are below 55.
