Considering Singapore market is so so tiny compared to US markets, what do Singapore Fund managers who manage local funds invested in Singapore equities actually do? Volatility in SG is so low, there is not much rebalancing or optimisation to do daily.

Most of their times are used to do sales related materials/admin works.
They have a team of risk analyst and market analyst to assist them in picking/suggesting the direction and portfolio to manage.
