Not a single soul in the world knows what is going to happen in the market 1 day from now 1 month from now or 1 year from now.

Take for example at the current moment, the economy data looks like its going to crumble but stock market is almost at all time highs (US) so the ecnomic data and stock market data does not tally.

Bulletproof way is to keep buying every single month and average down the cost of your stock / share.

And yes mutual funds that tracks top companies in every stock market is recommended!
