First of all.. i would like to say there is a huge misunderstanding on the network marketing industry. One big example that haters would like to point out is the MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING AND PYRAMID SELLING (PROHIBITION) ACT(CHAPTER 190)

Some point in our lives, we will encounter this objection. everyone i know, tend to run away from this conversation. But I won't. because the haters are selecting bits and pieces of information and omitting the entire law statement and it can be infurating to me, to say the least.

At the headline, it prohibits any companies from promoting multi-level marketing schemes or arrangements or pyramid selling schemes or arrangements in relation to the distribution and sale of commodities; etc.

This is the statement that they will stress hard.

However, if you actually read on, it says at number (2)

"In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —"

ACT refers to the law, and it will apply, unless the company does "this" "this" and "this"

In this Act, “pyramid selling scheme or arrangement” shall be taken not to include such schemes or arrangements for the sale, lease, licence or other distribution of a commodity, or any class of such schemes or arrangements, as the Minister may by order prescribe, subject to such terms or conditions as may be specified in the order.

However, the haters can't seem to have read this part at all.

Point number 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 go back to being firm against the actual illegal pyramid schemes again.

After all, the law will have to focus more on catching the pyramid schemes rather than focusing on the legitimate network marketing companies.

Do correct me if I am wrong

MLM? Personally, not an advocate. Especially in the age of data where we are empowered with information to buy direct (and avoid paying the layers and layers of fees to others in the network)

For me, anyone should buy a product only if it provides value for them, not if a ''friend" is coercing them to buy it.
