Lovely program for the fast track to Star Alliance gold back in the old days.
It was also easier to maintain Star Gold status than with, say, SQ.
Howeve the recent devaluation has removed a lot of value from the sweet intra-Asia spot for redemption.
I still credit flights there however, since most discounted airfares don't earn a thing on KF.
My idea is that some day I will gain enough miles to redeem again, since it is an activity based FFP.
