Sometimes I don't have time to wait at the polyclinic to see a doctor because of my schedule, I would have to go to a private clinic. This happens a lot because I tend to fall sick easily. Found this app called GetDoc+ (https://plus.getdoc.co/) so I subscribe at $12/year and I can go to any nearby private GP for a short consultation at $15 flat compared to $25 and up. I usually know what medication I need and I'll try to save more by asking for the generic versions.
I would rather go NTUC Fairprice or Giant to do my grocery shopping unless there are unique fantastic promotions or discounts at RedMart. Hence RedMart is more to complement NTUC Fairprice or Giant. I also used to take Grab previously when Uber was around and there were a lot of promo codes. Now, I would prefer to take public transport unless I am short of time. Again Grab is more to complement public transport.
Orthodox time saving method is taking grab to save some time, especially at the end of a long day at work. More time to relax, on the ride itself as I don't need to squeeze with the evening commute and at home. Trend is about 20+ for me from town back home. Unorthodox is atrending courses to upgrade my skills and knowledge, allowing me to shortcut to an earlier retirement. 4 figures commitment for such
I use these services (redmart, food delivery) for the sake of their savings and variety, though it does save time besides $.
Only willing to pay for the volume purchase to get economies of scale. Not willing to pay extra 😜
