What are some personal finance goals that have changed for you over the years?

For example, how you envisioned yourself at 30, when you are 18 vs now at 25. Has anything changed significantly?

At 18:
I don't think I had any financial goals. Just graduate and move on to tertiary education. In fact, I hated money at that time and thought it was "the root of all evil" (part preconceived ideas, part because some bad things that happened around me involved money)

Now:
My job introduced me to the world of investing-related things.

I am trying to understand my insurance policies. A financial adviser, who is a mutual friend, approached me to discuss about financial planning. And subsequently recommended some policies.

Since I was not purchasing with my family but on my own, I needed to understand what I was getting.

I trust that this mutual friend recommended based on my needs πŸ˜‚ so I got most plans after consulting family, but I started to go through my insurance policies 1 by 1.

I am also more active on Seedly, reading questions and articles on the topics I am interested in.
