What are some of your financial goals? Why do you want to invest?

The following goals is mine

Financial abundance by age 50 , to have 100k passive income p.a which is more than sufficient for my daily expenses and holidays, where I work only because I want to and not because I need to , where I no longer need to worry about my next bill

To have enough in old age (definition of 'enough' difficult though)

fun hobby. the fun being, among other, to realize more and more the great paradox in investing:

it is not active, market timing, analytic (value, fundamental, technical analysis) buy & sell trading with single stocks, options or leveraged products that leads to best performance.

But rather: boring, 'non-doing' ultra-longterm buy & hold investing into large & cheap passive indexing ETFs.
