What are some good places to propose to your girlfriend to be your wife?

Some ladies may have a preference. However, if a lady is ready to marry you, probably any place is also ok.

Avoiding the "usual places" can also be a good idea. The best proposal is usually a sincere, spontaneous proposal.

E.g.... Strolling along Singapore, kallang river etc... Or at the nearby neighbourhood park.. then see that she is in a good mood.... Distract her a bit by pointing to something... then surprise your proposal.

A place that is special only to the both of you!

It doesn't need to be expensive or extravagant. It needs to be meaningful.

If however she is in fact looking for it to be ultra expensive/extravagant, then I guess you would also need to think about whether values about money are aligned.
