U will never go wrong by paying with cash if u can afford to. Then only trigger cpf when u feel that yr cashflow is tight. U can always adjust the amount that u want to pay with Cpf by following yr latest financial situation.

It looks like u r paying more than 10% of yr salary to insurance and that haven't include yr endowment plan. Rule of thumb is not more than 10%. U might want to talk to some good FA to restructure yr coverage.

Singapore Saving Bonds and fixed deposits would be the safest option since they are more liquid and you could withdraw anytime to repay your study loan since you have the intention to repay in full before graduation. I don't think you want to consider other investments since you already have other portfolios.

No. The value inside the MCO card cannot be used to buy crypto. Instead you can use the money inside the fiat wallet (eg Xfers) to buy crypto. They are different accounts in the app.

Most credit card exclude giving rewards for payment to insurance companies. Therefore, you may wish to check the card's terms and conditions if you intend to use one. Otherwise, you may consider third party services that may be able to do so legally. Here is everything about me and what I do best.

Hi anon, The quotation engine is the same regardless of the advisor, so your quotes will be the same. This applies to all companies. The question is who you feel comfortable working with and trusting your finances to. Your advisor is supposed to be here for you at all stages of your life to advise you on the best actions you can take regarding your financial situation. Having said that, AIA is quite pricey, and you will probably find more cost effective options with other insurers such as Aviva, Manulife or China Taiping. An independent financial advisor can help you on this. One thing I will recommend is that you consider taking up a policy based on your needs, but not to procrastinate in doing so.

Interesting question! Even though it is possible, it doesnt mean one should do it, especially since you are forsaking using illiquid funds (CPF) for liquid funds(cash) for your housing purchase. I treasure lliquidity a lot so I would definitely want to drain my CPF OA before using cash.

Meant to diversify currency risk. however should only include "stable" currencies, if meant for saving. Currency conversions can be done in SG by Your bank, but this is way to expensive. If you are in need to convert currencies, use cheaper(and safe) Services like Transferwise or CurrencyFair. If you f.ex. have in SG two bank accounts in nominal SGD and USD currency, You can do the conversion even within Singapore.
