Depends on your area of concern. If you are referring to investment, I have compiled a list of financial crisis and reasons not to invest since early 90s. But year after year, the market outperforms the critics. Therefore, it has no impact on my investment, unless I am a speculator and not an investor. If you are referring to career, unemployment is everywhere. Likewise for recruitment. The only way to stay in a job is to stay relevant. So long as I have skills, knowledge, and experience, I won't be jobless. In summary, regardless of market movement, life goes on. Just do proper planning for myself and stay focus on my long-term goals. At the sae time, remind myself not to be distracted by short-term obstacles.

I am particularly curious if Chester (Country Manager for Revolut SG) can share whether the following features will be impacted by the banking license being off the table: - Topup/Funding in non-SGD currencies - Virtual bank account details (for both SGD and non-SGD currencies) The above would be important to get feature parity with something like Transferwise, else Revolut is looking a bit weak (to both TW and Revolut's own offerings for residents in other countries). (Nonetheless, agree with reasoning for pulling out of the banking license race; when I saw the 1.5bn capital requirement, I was wondering who would want to pursue a license; MAS must have a very specific view of potential future banks of when setting the requirement)

I've always been a bit wary of crypto related cards as it is unclear whether there is a viable business model underlying the product. Am at the FinTech Festival running at Expo today (Nov 11) and coincidentally came across Wirex booth and had a extended conversion with Wirex marketing reps. She shared that unlike some of the other crypto related cards, these guys actually have a product that can work completely without the crypto side - its a cut down version of YT offering. While this isn't fantastic (they just officially launched yesterday but their feature set is basically same as 1st gen of YouTrip), at least it address some of the concerns about being a scam. Did end up trying out the product - full writeup in the review linked below. The tldr - it isn't a working product yet - . https://seedly.sg/reviews/multi-currency-cards/wirex

There are a number of platforms, multi-currency cards etc out there that enables investors to convert currency from one to the other but there is no investing offering after that which will lead to a number of transactions. Through Kristal.AI we enable our investors to convert currency (SGD into USD) at a nominal charge of 5 bps i.e. .05% after which you will be able to invest into the various Kristals (trading strategies) on the platform. In addition up to an amount of 50k USD, no fees are charged (no advisory fees, no transaction fees!

Thanks to Google and its privacy busting data analytics, this QUANCY has been popping up a lot recently in my ads (its basically everywhere) Haven't tried personally due to warnings signs: - Everything feel very new and 'rough' - seems like just pop out in September. - App doesn't reveal anything before asking for personal details - Website is very frugal with info on fees and charges - Q&A is essentially a few FAQs written by one guy - General lack of details on offering Notably, I did try at least download app and try and put in complaint about the aggresive KYC - that was 2 weeks ago and no response; so a bit concerning. One slight slight positive note - I did do some poking on ARCA and other corporate database websites - it does look there is collaborating evidence the firm does exist and have seed funding. But given concerns - I didn't weight this so much and didn't continue further. Update 16 Nov - got email noting company is rebranding itself (changing names) and expanding its offering. A bit amazing from a company that just soft launched their product. All adding to something that looks concerning.

Youtrip don't allow to/from other wallets (see below) but otherwise prepaid cards are ok. https://support.you.co/hc/en-us/articles/360021352893-What-are-some-platforms-that-cannot-accept-payments-with-YouTrip-

Yes, I used Youtrip in Japan and absolutely loved it - no challenges faced. The only thing with Japan is that not all places accept card - for eg. my favourite matcha soft serves were all paid in cash. But for all the mastercard friendly places, Youtrip is awesome! Haven't used Revolut yet, but it would be good to test both out.

Hey! 👋 I'm not entirely sure I get your question. But if you're asking about conversion from JPY to SGD, you can do that from within the application, and vice versa with the other supported pocket currencies (we will be introducing more very soon). Hope this helps! ☝️

Hey there 🙌 You are already able to make transfers to a foreign account in any of the currencies we support. Just head to your account, hit payments, bank transfer, complete all the details and initiate the transfer. Hope this helps! 💪
