Given your case, you may want to look at zero-fee credit cards since these expenditure may not be very frequent (depending) or high transaction amounts. For myself, I have been using CIMB AWSM (18-29 y.o).

I've not personally done this but I've read about this from someone else on a forum who've tried it. The answer is that ezlink transactions made via ApplePay and SimplyGo will allow for the 1% cashback. Hope it helps!

Which credit card is the best for someone who is still a student & is not working?
Hello, credit card is actually for working adults as there is a min. salary requirement to apply for one. Unless your parents sign a supplementary card for you from their own credit card. That being said, DBS offers the only credit card that students can apply for which is called DBS Live Fresh. It gives 5% cashback on McDonald’s, Starbucks, Golden Village, Netflix and Spotify. As for your other expenses, I would recommend getting a debit card, you can look into DBS Visa Debit Card or Standard Chartered Cashback Debit Card that comes with their JumpStart Account which provides you with higher cashback. This is what I am doing as a student as well, hope it helps! :)

I am using Crypto.com Ruby Steel Card and I love it (all my friends love it too). 2% cashback on EVERYTHING. But note that you will need to put an upfront 'investment' of about $1k

Definitely as soon as possible so that you can start building your credit score when you pay your credit on time. This is extremely helpful when you take a loan for big ticket purchases such as your first house, etc. as it could save you thousands in interest. You should check with your bank assistant how long of salary data you need to apply for the credit card. All the best!

Amex True Cashback card is the only card left known to work. There may be other cards that work for now, but the recent Visa MCC change has nerfed most of them.

Personally I think it depends on the purpose of the cards you’re using. For instance, if you have multiple credit cards, perhaps a particular card could be used specifically for big-ticket or pricier items, while another card can be used for your regular daily expenses. It depends on your needs/preferences. Nonetheless I’d suggest to use an expense tracker, it’s honestly very helpful! I think Seedly’s app allows you to record expenses based on the respective accounts so that can be pretty handy. For me, I stick to using only one credit card most of the time, so it’s much simpler to track :)

Well, actually e-payment platform transactions are all based on your bank account. You have to attach your credit/debit card information with any platforms to proceed any finanical services. In terms of the best, I may suggest this new payment called paylater. You can pay your bills monthly and it's interest free.

Most banks list only annual income requirement for their credit card & loan eligibilities. However, credit score can impact the chance of your application getting approved, particularly if you already have many other cards or loans or have a particularly bad credit history.
