The only help people need are to keep their jobs and continue getting salary.

Once people get mass retrenched or many go on no pay leave, the whole economy will suffer.

No income means no spending. No spending means shopping, food, leisure, the whole domestic market economy is affected. Then those working in those sectors get retrenched too. Then the cycle goes on.
