I will suggest for you to speak with your agent to evaluate the details with you, and whether you can proceed with the upgrade without terminating the existing policy.

This is because you may be paying a higher premium due to age. Additionally, you should enhance your coverage based on what you need, rather than which is better. After all, any new launches is likely to be better than the existing plan. And it certainly doesn't make sense to keep terminating the old plan to get the new one.

Therefore, speak with your agent or an experienced consultant for specific advice.
